General Announcement!

So hello everyone. I wish I could be more cheerful about this, but it’s not the most cheery of subjects, which I’m sorry for. I know I’ve said before that I would be here for IEG 2.0 and have even been trading some haphazard brainstorms with some, but I’ve been realizing that my heart’s just not in it anymore. And you all deserve better than that.

So I’m heading out! I wish you all the best of luck and send much love for you all! IEG was a wonderful experience and I’ve truly enjoyed being here, working with all of you.

If anyone would like it, my personal tumblr is eviscerating-in-fiction and I’m happy to hear from any of you- even if I’m a bit absent on checking it occasionally. :P

Thank you and much love,

Eve

into-each-generation-promo:

Welcome to Into Each Generation, a literate Buffyverse roleplay. A year has passed since Sunnydale fell into the Earth. Buffy, Willow, and 100-potentials-turned-slayers are drawn back into the fight, this time at London’s hellmouth. The council, left in ashes, has been rebuilt from the ground up. Mysterious deaths are not far behind. This time, with murders, history, and a brand new council in the mix, will the Scoobies be able to separate truth from myth? Or will playing slueth prove too difficult?

What’s with the 2.0, you ask? We recently finished our first iteration (as in tied the plot up, we didn’t die), and now we’re moving onto the next one. All characters have been re-opened, and there has never been a better time to jump in! We’re looking for a bunch of new people to write with. If you were too intimidated by the plot history to join before, that should no longer be a concern.

Applications will open on May 10th, and the roleplay is starting on May 17th. We will get back to applicants by then.

Reasons you should think about applying @ Into Each Generation:

  • Our previous iteration lasted just over a year, and had four seasons. This roleplay is run by people who stick to things for the long-term, and is at no risk of dying out
  • Amazing memberbase full of friendly and talented people; everyone loves Buffy, writing, and each other
  • Passionate and dedicated mod-team
  • OOC fun and all the meta-analysis you can handle
  • Over-arching plot with plots of the week to keep everyone involved and on their toes
  • Great activity with both paras and dash interaction
  • Like 100 open characters, a mix of canon and OCs.

Come check us out, and feel free to ask questions!

[pm] It was pretty easy, actually. But not as satisfying as I’ve heard it’s supposed to be. Oh well, we do what we must.

[pm] Somewhat satisfying though, surely. That we do.

[pm] I’ve missed you as well, Leslie. I’m assuming you’re just about ready for graduation?

[pm] So much. I cannot wait and will likely brag once I’ve finished, I’m not ashamed to admit it.

[pm] I suppose, though it’s still killing.

But thank you.

[pm] He was already dead, technically speaking. And an awful sort of nuisance beyond that. I was quite thrilled to learn of his demise. So thank you.

[pm] That is very true, if one thinks about it enough. As the saying goes, “he had it coming”. So if I did a service to someone as yourself, I suppose that that makes things at least a little bit of the ‘better’ variety.

[pm] He very much did. I was rather worried about him for quite some time, so it was a load off my mind that you were able to remove him.

I’m sure you did a valuable service to many.

If you could be any character from any film or tv show ever made, who would you pick?

Why on earth would I want to be anyone else rather than who I am?

I like who I am. I wouldn’t choose to be someone else, especially as hardly any of them get the sort of ending I’d want.

any graduation gifts you've got your eye on?

I like shiny objects as much as the next girl.

In reality, I’m eyeing a few things. A couple of books, some items from the spring collections coming out. Things like that.

Why? Hoping I give you a wish list?
